How to create an FTP Account in SolidCp
- Login into SolidCP by going to http://cp.yourowndomainname or http://cpanel.yourowndomainname
- Click on FTP Accounts.
- Click on the Create FTP Account Button.
- Enter UserName, Password and Confirm Password.
- Select the Path as per your requirement from the home folder dropdown, normally this would be \thedomainname\wwwroot the websites run from the wwwroot folder.
- enable what permissions you want the ftp account to have in this folder.
- Click on Update button.
How to update an FTP Account in SolidCp
- Login into SolidCP by going to http://cp.yourowndomainname or http://cpanel.yourowndomainname
- Click on FTP Accounts.
- Click on the name of the FTP Account.
- Make the changes you require to the account.
- Click on Update button.
