About ADSL Line / ADSL Broadband Line.
Information that you should know when signing up for an ADSL Line:
1) You must have a Telkom telephone or fax line already installed.
2) The ADSL Line prices exclude the Telkom monthly telephone line rental (You will be billed by Telkom for this separately along with your phone calls for each month).
3) HostworX will facilitate and get the ADSL Line enabled on your phone line service and bill you directly each month.
4) Your telephone/fax line must be on a Telkom exchange that supports ADSL Broadband
.
5) You need to purchase an ADSL router / modem. An
ADSL Router is required to enable your computer to connect to the ADSL Broadband Line, this ADSL Router is a separate cost.
6) All ADSL line faults that can not be resolved over the phone and end up having a Telkom technician come out to your premises may result in Telkom billing you a call out fee. All ADSL Broadband Line faults are attended to by Telkom broadband technicians, HostworX will facilitate the logging of such ADSL Broadband Line faults to telkom for repair.
7) Telkom is in control of the ADSL line activation / transfer. The average is 2 to 14 days, the time can vary. Although HostworX will do every thing to keep this time to a minimum. HostworX takes no responsibility for any "hold-up's" caused by telkom.
8) If you have an existing ADSL Broadband line with Telkom, all you need to do is apply for an HostworX ADSL line transfer.
